Progressive Summer Training 2020

Are you ready to take your dance training to the next level this summer? Dancers who are currently registered in any of our Progressive level classes (2/4/7/8/10/11) are invited to take part in our summer training classes, intensives, and workshops at APA. These opportunities are teacher recommendation based, so please let us know if you have any questions or need guidance finding the best options for your dancer. Current students can register starting February 1st either through their portal or by calling or stopping by the front desk. Registration will open to the public on February 10th. Teacher recommendation is required for all new students – please email Nancy Andrews Roque, our Company Co-Director, for more information.

Progressive Summer Classes

Level 2/4 $90 | Level 5/7/8 $125 | Level 10/11 $150

These classes are geared towards helping our Progressive Level dancers of all skill levels step it up. You’ll work on technique, learn new skills & benefit from new choreography in every class! Get ready to work hard and have a blast in Summer Dance Classes! Contact us for more information about which classes would be best.

4 Week Session | July 6 through July 30 | Classes on Mon, Wed, Thurs

Ballet Intensive

5:00pm- 9:00pm | $150 Members/$175 Non-Members | Teacher Approval Required

All advanced dance skills are founded in a strong Ballet education. Dancers looking to hone their skills, improve their turnout, correct their alignment or just get back to basics,will truly enjoy this week. Each day will be dedicated to exploring various approaches to traditional Ballet class. Dancers hoping to be approved for Pointe in the fall are encouraged to take this Intensive.

Summer Skills Intensive

Full Day: 9:00am-4:00pm $255 | Teacher Approval Required | Ages 9-18

Half Day: 9:00am-1:00pm $150 Members/$175 Non-Members | Ages 5-18

Join us this summer for a strictly TECHNIQUE-based camp. Dancers will be taught by various members of our senior staff on flexibility, stamina, injury prevention and strength. No choreography will be taught during this camp, to give dancers the time they need to focus on improving their fundamental skillset.

Tumble Camp at CLA

1:00pm- 4:00pm $150 | APA Members Only

In order to provide enough room for our dancers to safely work on acro and tumbling skills, we have teamed up with Carolina Legacy to provide this awesome camp. They have dedicated this camp to APA dancers only and offer exceptional cross training forour students.

Fun Fridays

6:00pm-9:30pm | $40 each | APA Members Only

What could be more fun than a master class and party rolled into one?! At each Fun Friday, dancers will experience a different style of dance, coupled with a crazy cool activity. Work hard- party hard, meet new friends, and have a blast at these unique summer events.
