Special Education Class Instructor

Megan has a B.S. in Child and Adolescent Studies from Cal State University, Fullerton.  She is a certified k-6th Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher with WCPSS and has taught for the North Carolina School system for the past 7 years. Before relocating to NC, Megan taught multiple styles of dance at various studios in Orange County, California for 10 years and for the past 6 years at the Academy for the Performing Arts.  While teaching in the classroom is her first passion, Megan’s love for teaching and service is interdisciplinary, and she is excited to now be able to share the joy of dance with individuals of all ages and abilities.  When she is not dancing, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her little girls grow up.
